Etching for the Very First Time...

I am excited to share I have started etching jewelry, I had been eyeing the supplies for a few months and thinking of all the possibilities and decided to give it a try, here are the results from experiment 1:

First Experiment. I think I left the silver piece in the chemical a little too long so for next experiment leave silver in less time.  I like how the surface looks very textural, I am quite pleased.
