Bezel Rings...

So excited to work on my new collection! These bezel walls are for a 4 stone pendant.  It's so nice to be in the studio and doing research at NYC museums.  Getting obsessed in a good way...

Wax

My four Brooklyn besties and I have decided to start a collective, mostly to have a great excuse to keep each other working and creative.
We have set it up so every few months we have a new theme and each of us creates towards that theme in our own interpretation.

Just some thoughts by way of photos.

I made a necklace about two years ago with 4 greyscale bezel settings...it sold.

But I really liked it.

In addition to working on these settings I have been knitting like a mad woman.

I am determined to make a mitten. Yes a mitten, as in at least one.

And I'm back.

I had forgotten how much I love printmaking, so after taking a one day seminar I carved some stamps and decided to make limited edition Liam of York packaging with recycled brown paper(formerly part of a pant pattern I was drafting).

Hey. This is my new favorite, the bracelet is woven with fine silver handmade rings and oxidized to look as though its been dug up from the bowels of ancient times.

Dearest friends, my sincerest apologies for not writing here as often as I'd like.

I have been couped up in my studio the past few days teaching myself the ancient art of chain weaving.

This week we had our company holiday fancy dinner which was REALLY lovely.

For secret santa I made a bracelet, it's a little too small so I found myself hand weaving the double chain below the bracelet.

Hope she loves it!
